Alaska Mosque, One and Only Mosque Around Church Neighborhood, Covered By Snow

This mosque was officialy opened to public by the attended of The Russia President, Vladimir Putin at  September 23th, 2015. It also attended by The President Of Turki, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Mahmoud Abbas from Palestina and also many other leaders.

In the 1980s  this mosque almost be demolished because of its location near to Olimpyc Stadion. The government was held summer Olimpiade in 1980 said that this area could be flatten and being used as a buffer land to the stadion. Luckily the representative of Arab Saudi save it.

The renovation idea was came from Muftirawil Gaynetdin. He combined the local architecture and the middle east neo byzantium style. The main building has 6 floors, consist of three tower and 6 domes. The architect was Nikolay Zhukov.

The main dome of the mosque whas 27 m diameter and 46m height. The constructer spend 12 kg gold to covered it .

Meanwhile 2 of 3 domes that was built in 78 height. It has the halfmoon symbol on the smallest dome over the origin building. The roof and domes was coloring by bluish green.

This building has 7 access to get to prayer room. It capable to accommodate more than 10 thousand participants with wide area 18.900m2 . Woman prayer room was designed to be apart on the highest floor with its door.

The Canadian marble was using in this building could hold the fluctuation degrees to make people feel comforts. The beauty and the luxury of this mosque was affected from the front carved door and 1,5 tons beautiful chandelier in the main room , the gifted from Turki government.
